Just a little tip for anyone who might be struggling with the Archer's silly movement gimmick: The thing will gladly break its "forward" speed limit and putter along at a good 30 kph for quite a long ways if you just start on even a slight downward slope. So you don't always have to do a 180 to travel somewhere. EDIT: Too heavy   10 more seconds and I could've made it back in time to reset their cap. Yeah, it spazzes out at 30, but it still increases smoothly until that. And I'd like to think that after 22k battles I can feel the difference between 20 and 30 kmph.

The Archer can go decently fast if you have a nice slope, I could get it to 30 on the incline in the village on Westfield, and that's barely noticeable.

I did it, guys. I peeked behind the pubbie curtain and I am not sure I will ever be the same. Tier 8 game in my IS-2. My team full of retards sends 1 tank to the west side of Erlenberg, so I hold back and try to cover him as best I can. I get a few shots off and get run over by 4 or 5 tier 8s. Meanwhile our 43% Super Pershing is running his dickhole about how bad I am for dying early. He goes from the mid map and backs literally to the K line and dies last. Battle: El Halluf Vehicle: T37 Experience received: 3,870 Credits received: 37,297 Battle achievements: 1 Mark of Excellence, Top Gun, Pascucci's Medal, Mastery Badge: "Ace Tanker" Game ended with me vs 3 spgs and a Black Prince, I got really goddamn lucky and never stopped moving.

Just had a team on South Coast let an STB-1 drive straight south through the village on South Coast and up into our spawn unopposed, from where he was able to snipe my 416 in the middle rush spot, and then go on to decimate our team as we lost like 15-3. Had the same guy on my team the very next battle same tanks, he asked me if I was surprised because he seemed to be surprised he got there. He then went on to carry our team to a top gun, the last 3 kills coming with only 250hp left as the rest of us tried very hard to coach the remaining T95 into doing the right things to let the STB-1 carry.

Ahaha, wow. So on the RU server Winter mode came with "hidden missions" (because the problem with missions is that you can see what you need to do ingame and work towards it, right?). Long story short they were totally hosed up and players have been earning hundreds of thousands of XP, 3-4k per game with games lasting ~ 5 mins and a crew XP multiplier on top. Don't worry though, these terrible bugs will be fixed before it goes live on the EU or NA servers.

Sure, the multi-skill crews are a bit of a boon to players that would otherwise cause them to have to play much longer for the same effect, *but* if the crews were in anything other than T10s, they'll have to be retrained, and no one would ever dare credit-train a 3+ skill crew for a new tank. Also, if you accrue hundreds of thousands or millions in convertible xp, you still need gold to make it useful. So, unintentional...or incentive to make tight-assed Russkies dig into their wallets?

Why wouldn't you retrain them? You only drop 10% off your primary skill which is like 40k xp regardless of any skills acquired (assuming you started with 100% primary skill). Most of the skills are useful for all classes, so there's no real need to retrain them either.
