 two weeks ago - "oh hey it's kmfdm on the something awful front page, did they have a new album or something?" last week - "it was in 2014? what the hell i might as well download it, the title and cover are promising" finally got around to listening to it yesterday and christ this thing's pointless. it's about as dumb as you'd expect from late-late-late-period kmfdm but it's also really light, even at their worst you could at least expect them to be loud and heavy but this is just a bunch of forceless synthesized bullfart. there are exactly two decent songs on it, one's a goofy novelty mishmash of german words that americans know ("autobahn! hausfrau! fahrvergnugen! sauerkraut!") and the other just uses that old '90s "that's the way of the world! she has to be loved!" track for the bridge. everything else is completely forgettable except for something called "get the tongue wet" which is one of the worst songs that i've ever heard. gently caress that song, gently caress this album, at this point gently caress this band too.
