Advance notice for you fine SAS folks: preliminary period is just about over. I'm going to sell. Offers are going to be accepted starting Monday up through the deadline and into the waiver period.

Goodness no, now that wouldn't do at all!

The NL West's been the murder division on the NL side since S22.

S22 win totals for the East were 99/82/81/58 vs. 98/96/91/81 for the West, S23 East had 101/99/77/61vs. 105/104/93/80 in the West.

mike price, 99 health-haver, now with his second career derailing injury :toot:

I swear i'm /pretty sure/ that "minor" and "major" injuries are totally seperate categories and health doesn't affect the latter at all. at least from my experience the low health guys rack up 3-15 day injuries but it seems like catastrpohic ones happen to everyone at the same rate

So one of the first things davewillie does upon his return is demote Really Cool Shortstop Ernie Mantei for....reasons?

He did so and installed former 2nd overall pick Willie Mendez at SS. When I say 2nd overall pick, I mean in 2nd overall in the draft that just took place 10 real life days ago. The dude is barely a Burrellballer quality 2B to boot, so naturally he's playing SS in the majors straight out of the draft.

I would call that an obvious tank move but I wouldn't be shocked if davewillie honestly thinks it's the best thing for Mendez' growth.

In other news, if anyone wants Really Cool Shortstop Ernie Mantei, hit me up.
