Yes he did. Also the speedrun community is really cool for Halo games, goatrope and monopoli are both really cool guys and HaloRuns is up there with zeldaspeedruns as cool websites you should go to.

If you are looking for ideas for future marathons, Peaches has run some games one-handed before and is really good as well. I think a one-handed race of the same game would be pretty cool to see.
