So I've got about 16Gb of internal storage left on my Wii U, but my Wii Mode storage is only something like 650 blocks, which I don't think equates to anywhere near that same amount of storage? Is the Wii data capped or something?

Eh I'm a hardcore Platinum fanboy trust me, I bought a Wii U mainly for Bayonetta 2. But MG Rising, Bayonetta, Vanquish and even the Clover stuff in the capcom days all immediately clicked with me. It could just be a bad demo but with most Platinum games even the demo is enough to get me really excited. I will probably get around to playing it at some point. It's just further down the queue of Wii U stuff I wanna buy now. Thanks for the walls of text though I might relay the demo with that in mind. Edit: also I kind of went into this expecting Viewtiful Joe which is probably my fault

I guess I had to replay it one time to actually feel like I knew what I was doing, but it was better than the MH3U demo, where I had a ton of items and no clue what they did, the buttons that did things weren't explained and so I just had to press every single button on the controller and sort of hope that I eventually got it (even after I started playing the game proper and had everything explained, the controls still took a little getting used to), and the camera had these very strange controls I'd never experienced in any game, ever.

What's the order in which I should go through my Wii U Platinum games haul? I have Bayo 1, 2, and W101. I'm tempted to do the Bayonettas first just because I hear that W101 is more polished overall. Plus I liked the demo after playing through it a few times to get the hang of it.
