My husband of 12 years and I agreed last night that we're getting a divorce. It's amicable, we're going to stay friends, we still care for each other (just not like that), so that's cool and all, but I'm still really, I don't know, sad, disappointed, nervous and stressed about the future, all those things and a thousand more. Cute pics of capybaras and guinea pigs will be especially appreciated, but any cute animals will do. This thread is just the best

Dumping some pictures I've taken over the past couple of years. My dad is a mailman, and the station he works at has frequent feral cats, as it backs up to a nature preserve. One day the letter carriers found a mother that had appropriated a mail bin for kitten storage.  American Robin fledgeling waiting for mom to come home.  Waiting for belly rubs.  Playing in the snow.

Yeah, I have a fluffy cat that only likes me to handle her, and the rest of the family are really surprised at how light she is if they ever have reason to pick her up. Most of the mass is fur. Maru's stocky but not fat, and he has that super-dense plush-like fur, so he looks heavy. I love Hana and Maru's little-sister big-brother relationship, and how she always kicks his rear end when they play fight. HE'S TEACHING HER THE UNDER THE COUCH TRICK  (nsfw for cat bumholes?)
