I didn't wake up today expecting to get owned. And yeah I'm going to say unironically that John and Roxy are great together, and that wordless little moment is one of the more effective relationship-building scenes in a comic known for endless, long-winded dialogues.

It's annoying to have to qualify it with "I unironically think" because people assume intentionally zany irony is the default state on SA, but unironically I think it's cute. Every kid has a first crush. And it's not like Hussie is the one writing all the gross creepy porn, that honor belongs to tumblr and fanfiction.net.

Just reread that journal, and this time through I know enough about troll society (to my everlasting shame) that I'm bothered by niggling questions like, why is Dualscar referred to as 'Orphaner' like it's some fearsome title when trolls don't even have parents to murder? And later in one of the bits about Redglare there's another 'red miles' reference because Hussie apparently just loves that phrase ('Had we inched 8lacker we'd have torn red miles across the land and sea.')...but we're talking trolls so shouldn't that be 'rainbow miles'? UGH, what an awful fanfic, IMMERSION RUINED.

Want the grand highblood lower on the hemospectrum than Dualscar? I don't think he'd survive the vast glub. Unless he's just that powerful, which considering Gamzee did over half of the Black King's health in one shot, he very well could be.

The meteor crew have even more potential for change if Gamzee's contained and Vriska's alive, and if Terezi can put together that her alternate future self wanted to tell her "you don't need him" that might have a weird impact on her love life. It's like we're back at the start of Act 6 all over again, with the same questions about how things will change for the kids and trolls and what they'll be like in-person.
