If they made the monsters better in Neptunia then I'm in at the summer sale price probably. Pissed me off that in the original you fight a DQ slime and a space invader and then after that the game is all generic fantasy monster models taken from one of their other games.

The worst thing about HuniePop is that technically it's not a bad game, it's fairly polished, has somewhat enjoyable if a bit grindy gameplay loop, bunch of characters and competent match-3 minigame. However, the terrible writing makes it extremely cringeworthy and drags the whole thing down. To its defense, that one video that was posted of the two girls yelling at each other is literally one of two such occurrences in the game that happen when you get introduced to the characters for the first time. I assume it was made specifically to raise people from their chairs. The red-haired girl has a very derisive personality but I guess that's her shtick, being annoying a flipping everyone off. Other lovely tropes are 300 years old child-bodied fairy who loves porn and one year old teenage catgirl you find in a park.
