Yeah I didn't like Dust, people called it 2D DMC which gave it waaaaay too much credit

Edit: I didn't like the fighting in guacamelee that much but the game all around was really good

Guacamelee remembers abilities should actually give you new platforming skills and not just function as glorified keycards, that alone puts it above most other metroidvanias.

Dust became spam magic spindash about five minutes into the game and didn't really move on from that, did have some nice backgrounds though

While it certainly sucks that people lost access to their thing(with no way to get their money back, I assume), games purchased in this way have been subject to bans and the like for a really long time. You'll get away with buying keys from such sites more often than not but you should know by now that this is one of the risks.

Why are there practically no games that have Hitman's disguise mechanics?

Honestly this is hella scummy and shady of UBISoft. They got their money for each game sold either way, so taking games away from people like this is awful. Reconfirms why I don't want to buy anymore UBISoft games.

If anyone at Ubisoft gave a poo poo they would've made a business case scenario and realize they stood to gain absolutely nothing and just pissed off customers that will probably not buy future games from them.

I remember Valve doing this to people with shady grey-market Orange Box keys back in 07.

unlike ubisoft, valve has made statements and included in the steam terms of service that they do not allow use of keys from regions that are vastly cheaper than the region your account is tied to, but that is the only case where it happens: you buying a $60 game for $5 from russia when you live in the usa.

besides that, valve either does not let you to activate the game, if region lock is already in effect, or does not let you launch game if you have moved to another region/etc, but you still retain it and if you move back, you get to play your game again
