I haven't played this game in literally a year and all my gear is level 70 from grinding Tomes and I have no idea what to do and I'm so lost  But at least my Weaver still looks good.

lmao was there a goon group in the WoD I was just in? Their Paladin had a macro that kept announced pulls like GO GOONS GO!! but then they wouldn't pull, or pull anything, and I wound up main tanking while handling all the adds in just about all four fights.

I'm saving my Fantasia for the expansion so I can become the delinquent dragonman of my dreams  Until then, highlander male works just fine.Another newbie tank question: it's pretty obvious what to put attribute points in for DPS and healers, but what about tanks? Full VIT? Lots of VIT with some STR thrown in?

Not the guy who asked the question, but I'm an iLevel 98 Warrior, full Vit, 9000+ HP in Defiance, constantly rotate my defensive cooldowns and I still feel like I'm always on the verge of dying. If you have a good and reliable healer, going full strength isn't a problem. If you're tanking in duty finder, you might want to put on some vitality jewelry.

I've been sitting at 7.5k HP in Defiance on my warrior for months and have had zero problems tanking through DF. You really gotta abuse your cooldowns on big hits though.

The adventurer is a non-native to Eorzea with no ties to any specific nationality or tribe, so for all intents and purposes all that stuff doesn't apply to you unless you want to roleplay it.

I wear a mix of STR and VIT jewlery at all times basically by finding VIT jewlery that favours det and crit and ones I can't find i replace with STR pieces. That's a stopgap at the moment until I start getting a wider variety of Augmented/Dreadwyrm pieces and can start mix and matching for a BIS Warrior set. Basically any content I've done (which is everything but T13 at this point) going above 10k HP seems like a bit of a waste on a Warrior

It's not like, the biggest deal in the world, one point of det is equal to like, .35 STR but that poo poo really starts to add up with the 90+ gear which can make or break FCOB content where even now we're making it out of T12's add phase with everyone on loving fire

Man, when they say keep up with your story quests they aren't kidding. I just did whatever seemed interesting at the time and hit 20. Went looking for my mount before realizing it was tied to the story quest. Having done nothing but story since, I just finished the three intro dungeons and am nearly 24. I'll probably be 26 before I actually get to ride my 20 mount. Which isn't really a complaint. "The game was so fun and had so much stuff I wanted to do, I outleveled my mount quest. Question: Once I get my chocomount, does each class need to be level 20 to ride it, or can my level 1s ride, too?

Your mounts are free to use at any level once you unlock them, likewise when you unlock the ability to summon your Chocobro at 30 you can summon them at any level. It really does rule for levelling off classes!

The mooncats are also matriarchal so it's less one male gets multiple females and more that a female might take a shine to a male mooncat. The exception is the Coeurlclaws for some strange reason. Also, it seems like the suncat breeding thing isn't that strict since the catgirl that hits on you if you're female is from the U tribe in Forgotten Springs.
