Hi, I can't use my volume up/down keys (useful when playing) on my laptop (asus), because they're tied to my F11 and F12 keys. Any way to switch from the Function keys to the volume keys? F11 puts on widescreen mode and F12 does a weird thing on the bottom of the page. I want to change them to up and down the volume (like the symbol says). Laptops with dual-function keys should have keystrokes, such as [fn]+F12, for example.

Man with Hat posted:What exactly is the difference between using the same password on several websites and having all passwords saved behind a single password in a password holder thingy? Shouldn't they be just as unsafe as someone just needs to break one of your passwords to access all of your stuff? Correct, if you use a different password for every site, then if there's a data breach it will only affect your data on that site, for one. Also I use two-step verification for my password manager, so you would need to know my password to that AND access to my cell phone to get into that.

Are guys in a band paid the same or there's a hierarchy? Like the singer gets more followed by the guitarist/s then so on? Does the audience impact factor into it too, like say Chris Martin (Coldplay) gets a higher share? Also, do you take home more money as a 2 or 3 piece group as opposed to a regular sized band since there's theoretically less money to split?

If it's the latter, and if she has a metal liner, you can probably suss out where it is with a stud finder and avoid it. Also, if your gf doesn't know what kind of a liner she has, her chimney sweep will. AlbieQuirky fucked around with this message at 02:45 on Jan 28, 2015 |

My internet stops working and I have to re-boot my cable modem. That was happening every couple weeks, but is now happening every day. It is especially likely to happen when you are doing a big upload/download. Time for a new cable modem, or do I have to call and speak to the phone jockey at the cable company? Possibly related but I don't think so... I'd been using CyberDuck for ftp for years. Recently I got a new iMac and installed CyberDuck again (I probably never upgraded the old version on the old mac, so it's a newer version) and it has a bunch of new features. It likes to remind me a LOT that I'm not on a secure connection to ftp. When uploading large files (this is how I sometimes deliver video to clients) it uploads the whole file, then freaks out a bit, then overwrites the file with something that is 0 bytes and errors out. What's going on here?

As an example, everyone in Nirvana got an equal share when Nevermind was released ... but after a couple years, Cobain said "Hey, I do (and did) the majority of the song writing, I should get a bigger share." From what I've read, the other two members were fine with the new arrangement for future work, but Cobain wanted it to be retroactive.

How can I clean this? There seems to be some sort of residue on the inside (you can't see it in the picture) and I have no idea how to get in there to wipe it. I've put dishwashing liquid and hot water in there and swirled it around, but that doesn't seem to have worked.

Those two get a bigger percentage of profits from record sales and redistribution than the drummer and bass player, because they wrote the songs. They will almost certainly share equally any profits from gigs and merchandise. Audience impact affects number of groupies and nothing else, in most cases. Any session musicians will be paid only for their time unless they wrote part of a song like that sax player from baker street.
