field balm posted:So what is the submission process? send a render with nothing on the master to the address mentioned? what kind of headroom should we be aiming for, etc? I'd be interested in the sfz, because I thought I was having problems with usb 3 with my interface again since I upgraded to Windows 8.1, but it seems to be related to ShortCircuit itself, all other plugins behave problem free. I'm now testing TX16Wx, but it would be nice to be able to exclude a quick parking harddrive as the cause by loading those samples in SFZ+. I would prefer stereo WAVs at 24/48 and 3db of wiggle room but as long as you're not digital clipping I do not care. Everything I've got so far has been all good.Startyde posted:pop a boner, send it along

Also roll call on who would like a compact cassette in the post, appropriate stock will be used for running time so quantities may be limited. Bonererz get priority, natch.

Bonerz away to meet the mastering chain. Dunno what I'll be working on next but clearly I need a bullshit justification for all the sweet stuff at NAMM so I should tailor my next project to fit that. My next project is keyboard solo music for lush pads but the player only has exactly six fingers to work with to play notes. VoodooXT posted:I should've just put in soundclips of Mark Wahlberg as Brock Landers from "Boogie Nights". I was thinking finding an appropriate noir passage from Neuromancer or some other sci-fi noir, but that works too.

Speaking of soundbites, what is your preferred way to extract something from say, an mkv file? I'm using a mac. I've tried things like wavtap and soundflower before but remember it being a hassle.

Soudforge, even the gimped out consumer version, works tolerably well for this if you have the patience for it to draw the waveforms out on long files.

I'm not sure if this quite fits the boner jam theme but I tried to make something sexy (not sure if I hit my mark). Anyways, here is my submission- https://soundcloud.com/dolphinblunts/2-u I'm kind of a noob and I wanted to spend more time on it but work is starting to pile up and it's about time to pull myself away from live.

So I tried and failed to open my new-to-me Ultranova, but the process of flipping it around and trying to find all the screws and get it open has resuscitated the key for now. I'm pretty sure the cause was either dirt or it getting stuck in transport from the music store to home. Hopefully it doesn't die again.

After hitting a fairly large wall in my attempts to make a K2000 editor for ipad I might just end up doing this with the new roland hybrid if the price is right for the full sized poly one.

Say I'm working on an extra BonerJam right now, how many dicks would I have to suck for a 24-36h extension right now? Basically it's the middle of the night here and I can't check anything on my speakers because of the thin walls. Also I've yet to finish it (actievely working on that), but it's shaping up nicely so far.

Dude......you're the reason for the deadline in the first place. Whether startyde minds getting it a few days late is up to him. Telling you right now though, you're forfeiting the privilege to hear the mastered version before it goes up, to request a resubmit/rework, to request a pull if you don't like it and any chance to complain about the end results in the forum.
