What I wondered is what happens if Ginyu switches with Gotenks or Gogeta, when they defuse does his mind shatter or are there just two copies of Ginyu?

The fusions in general are treated as their own characters separate from their components. If it ever came up, I'd like to think Ginyu would be in control of the fused body and be non-existent anywhere else. Also it would be funny.

Maybe he just swaps with one of them, so now Goten is in the body of Ginyu, and Ginyu is fused with Trunks.

I played some Ultimate Butouden or whatever for DS this evening, and it's a lot of fun. Really wish it'd come to the states. Lots of great what-ifs, and a pretty fun fighting system.

I ran through TeamFourStar's '24 greatest dragon ball moments' last night. Nothing too out of the blue about it. They seem to really not like the Buu Saga (I don't really blame them) while loving the Saiyan and Cell Sagas. Also a bit surprised by the lack of Freeza Saga moments. They also ignored the Red Ribbon Army arc completely and only gave a few moments to the Piccolo Sagas. Pretty interesting list and didn't really see it get talked about in here. Very DBZ centric but they made sure to give DB some love too

Do we all agree on Goku's first SSJ transformation being the best moment in the series? It's pretty much the only example I can think of where the anime did a scene better than the manga. It all happens too quickly in the manga, it works a lot better being drawn out a bit.

If I'm to pick one specific scene, probably. I think a lot of the Freeza fight leading up to that point is pretty dull though. If I were to pick one specific fight, it'd be the Goku vs Vegeta fight. It's a fight with a lot of back and forth, where both sides are completely and utterly crushed by the end. Gohan is unconscious, Krillin can barely stand, Goku certainly can't stand, and Vegeta is practically crawling into his pod. Yaji-loving-robe dealt a decisive blow in the fight.

My pick for something of an underrated greatest moment is Vegeta's first SSJ appearance/Vegeta punking out 19 with ease. I'd also rank the introduction of Cell way higher than they did. One of the few times DB ever managed to do horror. Disappointed that, although they included Piccolo sacrificing himself for Gohan, they just kinda gloss over his return. Though Bardock flying up to confront Freeza is canon since Freeza remembers it in the manga.

Where Toriyama decided Goku wasn't similar enough to Superman and just decided to steal his entire origin story while simultaneously undoing everything established about Saiyan culture in the process.
