Paul Robertson is probably the best sprite artist out there. It's also "fun" playing "is this image safe to embed or is there a dick/nipples/vagina/dicknipples/mutilated privates somewhere on it" with his art because boy howdy, he loves his grotesque imagery

I remember seeing an image recently that had names of like all different versions of Game Boy/DS or something, and there was just a random "& Knuckles" somewhere in it. I tried looking for it and couldn't find it though.

To be fair, Sonic 3 & Knuckles was the best game in that whole drat series and they really need to go back to making Sonic the Hedgehog games more like that. It's a loving tragedy that they ever strayed from the S3&K tradition. (Sonic Boom owns, though.)

The only thing that doesn't go well with Knuckles is Super Sonic.   This is from the UK's Sonic the Comic, which I've found pretty fun to revisit after reading it as a kid. It's best to start from issue 7, and only bother reading the strips by Nigel Kitching and Richard Elson. Meanwhile, in the US...  As far as weird fanart goes, most of it is based on the comic's version of Super Sonic, and this is the only good one I could find:  Anyway, back to reading about Sonic being a complete prick.
