I mean, Batman's rogue gallery are defined by being mentally ill people, so switching them up with wrestlers seems appropriate. Iron Sheik would be an excellent Joker.

Apparently Scarecrow is not mentally ill. In the Arkham game series during one of the patient interview tapes his psychiatrist. After first talking with him for a while he starts to think that he is not actually Insane. Then by the next tape he straight up says " I believe he is quite sane. Just evil."

Throne of Atlantis was okay. It was a step up on War (in that it actually had a story), but it's still needlessly violent and has awful, awful character designs. Everyone has enormous loving traps and huge necks, meaning their heads start about a foot above their shoulders.

Ahahaha, we watched this last night and the traps specifically came up as a point of mockery. Also the needless profanity drop from Black Manta to satisfy their "adult" quota.

I also thought it was hilarious that George Newbern, Khary Payton, and Kevin Conroy were all in the movie, but not playing their respective characters.

Yeah, I groaned at that point.

E: Also they summoned a tidal wave for no reason, and decided to attack on land instead.

He was an Atlantean guard or something. I can't find it on imdb but it was definitely in the closing credits.

Was that in the actual story?

Maybe it was just a power move, like Venture Brother's The Monarch makes, "No, No Black Manta. We have to show them that we mean Gigantic Tidal Wave Business!"

Yeah, it's exactly that dumb.

The Atlanteans summon a tsunami, let it almost hit Metropolis and then stop it so they can walk out onto the streets and fire lasers at people.

I think for TV they're just going to focus on their live action shows because those are the current sweethearts to the public's eye.

Which is a shame because it just takes a Constantine or something for people to say 'yeah, Arrow and Flash are good but stay the fuvk away from Titans or Gotham or...'

Meanwhile they could have had an Adventure Time/Steven Universe-like show with Amethyst and they killed that.

Or a Titans Go! Companion with SuperBestestBFFs (whatever that teen Wonder/Super/Bat-Girl short was called) and that died a horrible stillborn death.

Or continued Yj/GL.

Darkseid doesn't need the AntiLife equation. He can just hire the middle management from Warner Bros and make everything suck balls.

It starts to feel like the Antilife equation and Darksied are just a metaphor for the substantial "un-funning" of the DC universe and the editors in chief. Which would explain why he seems to get crammed in every where now. (or at least for a while, haven't really read that many new 52 books.)
