He was on the verge of winning the fight and he chased the finish like he always does, and he wound up overextended when Thales shot for a desperation takedown. Agreed, it was a good showing for Boetsch even though he lost. They're cutting people left and right but Boetsch is (almost) always exciting and I don't think he's that expensive.
