I have a Toshiba Canvio and a y-cable I got for cheap on Amazon and it works fine. I think you just need to be careful about what kind of drive you get and how much power it draws at spin-up.

Chieves posted:What's the quality of the nintendo shirts? I'm considering using some coinage, and it's a possibility. I got the NES remix one, but haven't worn it yet since I tossed it in with a lot of other laundry and just grab shirts at random. It looks kind of like the design would start flaking off easily after a few times of being worn... also I thought the controller on the sleeve was a patch in the image, instead it just seems to be the same loosely printed on design stuff.

It is definitely more hard, especially paired with having to go a long ways to reach the next save.

Finally got in and snagged a messenger bag. I hope they're decent quality because I want to keep and use it, not resell it on eBay. Is there a list of which Wii VC games support which controllers? I have three Wiimotes (only one has motion plus), and two nunchuck attachments, but no Wii Classic Controllers. I don't want to get games if I can't play them, obviously, but I've only come across a few games on the site that list the controller requirements.

SeANMcBAY posted:It's got a pretty cool coin rush mode that some people seem to like but otherwise it's mediocre for a Mario game. Play NSMBU and NSLU if you haven't already instead. Cool. Thanks, guys. I'll spend those coins on better things like Earthbound, Yoshi's Island or Super Metroid, even if I already played those to death back on the SNES.

You just gotta remember the amount of buttons that particular console controller has. TG-16, NES and Master System games only need a horizontal Wiimote, the rest need a Classic Controller. You can get them pretty cheap on eBay, iirc, just make sure you get the ones that say "Wii" above the Home Button or it's a knockoff.

If a game shows up under "registered products" but not on the list of coins you've received and has yet to show up as added to the total amount of coins you should've received from registering, does that just mean it hasn't been added yet or are they lost?
