So my bird is being super sweet today.  Please excuse the bedhead, I just woke up. This is Fuji. He's my sweet little butt nugget. He's usually not this cuddly, so it's a rare occasion.

My sister is a post-grad student in early childhood education, and while she's in school, she teaches at a Baptist elementary school in rural Kentucky. Recently she had to teach the kids the story of Moses. These kids are like, five years old and my sister is an atheist who really doesn't want to freak these kids out with tales of God's wrath, so she tries to have fun with some of the more morbid bible stories. She decided to handle the Ten Plagues like this: Paper bag hand puppets representing the Ten Plagues visited upon the Egyptians by God. I don't know what made her go with hand puppets but the results were loving adorable. Plague of Locusts might be the cutest thing I've ever seen, with the cool wings and the little pipe-cleaner legs. Ditto on Plague of Frogs, with the little eyelashes and that adorable tongue. River of Blood is a thing of beauty. Death of the First-Born is lacking in creativity but hey, five year olds.

So I grew up watching Saved by the Bell and Jimmy Fallon had an 8 minute skit where they re-created the set and got most of the cast back. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MftOONlDQac&t=25s I know exactly which episodes they are referencing in most of their lines.  Don't know if anyone else will find it cute or funny, but I did, also apparently the saved by the bell is immortal, Mark Paul Gosselar has a few more wrinkles but he looks drat near identical, Elizabeth Berkly looks she walked out of an episode, its uncanny, same with Mario Lopez and and Kelly(forget her real name.) Crohn's disease seems to be kicking the poo poo out of poor Mr. Belding though.

Holy crap; I've seen that kind of physical dichotomy in cats - at least with colouring; but I've not seen it convey physical characteristics like that; I'd really like to get a chance to analyse the genetics of it.
