e; I was skeptical at first too, so I searched them all up and it seems pretty darn concrete.

V it's closer to the latin root but sure I'll put it in for clarity.

I actually learned avarice growing up. It wasn't until later I heard greed as the commonly used one.

Seven deadly sins. 'Irritum' means 'useless.' Cavum means 'depression' (as in a low point in the ground, but they might have gotten the meanings mixed up.)

Later on you can see some bars with those words, so maybe a deadly sins gameplay element? Or your party members are meant to represent them?

Maybe it's over-analyzing, but why is Ira/Wrath the only one that's backwards? Maybe if the sins are applied to characters, it's the antagonist?

It looks female, and the cat's name is Morgana, so could be? On the other hand, the mask and tail look more fox or wolf than cat.

The blue menu looks like the item store, and the silhouette looks like a female doctor? So maybe you're getting your healing items from a backalley clinic or something.

This is reaching a bit, but cavum might be tied to the original eight evil thoughts that eventually became the seven deadly sins. One of the eight was acedia, listlessness, not caring about oneself or their position in the world, etc. etc. Essentially depression. Not sure about irritum though.

The blue menu is the item shop (she's selling recovery items). The green menu is the equipment store.

It's there for like a split second but she's probably just a vendor/doctor for the team based on the whole 'Takemi Medical Clinic' thing. Would be pretty cool to have the vendor join up for heists though.

Irritum could correspond to the 9 circles idea considering doing nothing gets you into limbo.

But theres not really a good mapping for some of the other circles/words since the circles dont all map to the terms that can be mapped to sins.

Nah I meant that unless you pause the video you can only really clearly see Luxuria because it's front and center the most out of all of them. Not to mention it's not cut away from super fast of flashed on screen for a split second.

Makes sense if you replace heresy and fraud with sloth and pride. Cavum might replace treachery.

Dantes idea of Limbo was that it was filled with the "Virtuous pagans", who couldn't get into Heaven but didn't do anything worth punishing. It was basically a chill place.

Hej min vän, hur står det till?
Man, the two different teaser trailers were such a great way to manage the expectations. After the first one, I was sorta thinking P5 was going to go for a Bergmanesque understatement and be darker in a more stoic sense, but then the other trailer just spins that into going all out expressive and unleashed. They nailed it hard.

They may play up the contrast between the main character's 'masked' and 'unmasked' self. In school he's probably a completely different person from when he puts his real face on and becomes THE PHANTOM.

I feel like all the crazy cat burgling will be in the ~magic world~ like Tartarus or the TV World so Persona 5 doesn't condone the Cool Crime of Robbery. Instead of saving someone from the TV before it rains, they gotta Emancipate something from it's owner for reasons.

I say this but the final shot has the MC going full crazy so maybe these guys are just stylish criminals.

I mean the opening part of the trailer looks like it's in a real casino so I think it's possible they're real criminals.
