Haha, I knew there was something I was missing in there. Yeah that was great. I also forgot that Rusty didn't just try to replace the Rusty from the successful universe (like tie him up and keep him in captivity somewhere), he straight up tried to murder him so he could take his spot.

So I'm watching Operation P.R.O.M. again, and I'm trying to figure out what this slow R&B song that's playing during the scene where 21 finds out 24 isn't really a ghost. It's hard to figure out the lyrics when the music's so quiet while Orpheus and JT are talking. Somebody help!

It's hard to figure out the lyrics when the music's so quiet while Orpheus and JT are talking. Somebody help! Is it "Like a Friend?" That song is playing front and center when Molotov goes over the cliff and Brock realizes he has one minute to save his adopted family. But, it starts much sooner, and the song itself is split into two very distinct parts--the latter part is the one you hear during the denouement, and it's got a very driven rock beat. But, the first part of the song is very slow and sad, with a sparse accompaniment consisting mostly of chords played on a clean electric guitar. The lyrics of the first part: Don't bother saying you're sorry. Why don't you come in? Smoke all my cigarettes, again. Every time I get no further. How long has it been? Come on in now, Wipe your feet on my dreams. You'd barely be able to hear that above the dialog, but without checking, I'd say that was it.

tarlibone posted:Is it "Like a Friend?" No, that song is perfect for the scene, but not the one I was thinking of. I can't find it online, but it's the scene where they're talking about Baba Oje. There's barely any of the song you can hear over the dialogue. Definitely more "slow dance song" than that Pulp song, though.

Man, I forgot how rough it was watching Gary's dreams of becoming a good guy fall apart in season 5 Or how Rusty is so desperately lonely that he not only befriends the tape recording of a children's toy, but just wants to hang out and chat with the "Beaver Inspectors" who come around to his house. At least he gets the happiness of SPANAKOPITA!
