davidspackage posted:I think it's just a hilarious coincidence, where both ears are the same, one's just floppy (in the manner a lab has), and it happens to be the one on the side of it's dark eye. I would never tire of looking at that dog, though. Hilarious coincidence is the case with pretty much all the animals that the internet likes to call chimeras. Venus The Chimera Cat is a calico that just happens to have both heterochromia and a very straight line of colouring. That's not really how chimerism presents itself. Calico cats aren't even chimera, they just have random X inactivation in their cells that causes those fur patterns.

Snowglobe of Doom posted:Chris Pratt makes good on his superbowl bet with Chris Evans and visits a cancer charity in his Starlord costume: The funny thing about Chris Pratt and his Star Lord costume is that's the actual one he wore when making the movie. When they finished filming he never returned it so he could do stuff like this. The other great thing is that even though Chris Evans won the bet they're still going to visit the Seattle Childrens Hospital.

Chris Evans mentioned once in an interview, that playing Captain America has helped him be a better person, as he knows he needs to set a good example for kids. For most kids they don't really make the distinction of actor/character, to them he IS Captain America.

Pangolins. "...(also referred to as a scaly anteater or trenggiling) is a mammal of the order Pholidota. The one extant family, Manidae, has one genus, Manis, which comprises eight species. A number of extinct species are also known. A pangolin has large keratin scales covering its skin, and is the only known mammal with this adaptation. It is found naturally in tropical regions throughout Africa and Asia. The name pangolin comes from the Malay word pengguling, meaning 'something that rolls up'." They walk on their rear legs and use their front claws for digging and climbing. When threatened they roll into a ball similar to an armadillo. They also produce a noxious acid from glands around their anus similar to skunks. As you might expect they are fearsome, bloodthirsty creatures. Especially when with their young. They are unfortunately the most trafficked mammal in the world. They also have a really goofy walk, like an old grandma. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gz4HXyxcess Nyyen has a new favorite as of 01:26 on Feb 8, 2015 |

Do not buy a ferret. They sleep constantly. They freak out for no reason. They will steal anything. From anybody. They won't clean themselves. They have terrible depth perception. They're overly dramatic. They can't act. They only belong in one place.

When I was... ten, I think I had a pet ferret. Sometimes I'd let her out to run around and play with my cat while I'd watch TV or play video games or something. This was when I learned that she loved the taste of soda because I heard a clinking noise next to me after about five minutes. Turned out my ferret had gone up to my glass, drank some of it, then grabbed onto the rim of the glass and tried to carry it off. I miss her.

If you don't want pet ferrets don't make a habit of watching LethalFrag's stream as he owns two ferrets and will occasionally stop his game to play with them. In all seriousness, do the research on ferrets before making your decision. They have their own needs and are a lot more high maintenance than any housecat or dog. Do your research and find out if have the resources and ability to care for them properly. An ill maintained animal is not a cute animal.
