Sup I've never posted in GiP before and I thought about making a thread all for this but then read the rules and decided this was a better place. I'm not in the military nor have I ever wanted to be but last night I had this weird dream where I was in the army and we were gonna go fight ISIS and I decided it was scary and dumb so I left. Then I came home and posted in GiP about how I left and asked what my punishment for deserting during a combat operation was gonna be and everyone responded with "lol you're hosed dude rip" Anyway that's my story see you guys later.

I'm not military so I want to know if this is peak military or par for the course: I was at the gym a week ago and my friend was asking me if I knew anyone there. Blah blah blah, I mentioned one hot girl who I knew before she joined the Army and haven't talked to since she came back. Next day dude hits me up saying he had recognized her name, googled her and found out she was married to a recruiter who committed a murder-suicide to a 17 year old girl he was recruiting. Apparently dude had a history of being too close with female recruits. She has an "I love you forever" video floating around the internet she made after she found out about the murder-suicide. Highlights include being proposed to in a motel room. I actually remember him in the news, the rear end in a top hat killed someone my friend's brother was close with. In diving further into the rabbit hole, the girl in the above paragraph was talking to a friend at the gym is a fat chick whose marriage, Mustang car buying, home buying, multiple dog getting, and recent divorce to a guy from Fort Drum has been detailed over the years on Facebook. I assume this is likely Army standard issue. I kind of hope this is par for the course.
