Baby wombats are slightly terrifying, really. I think it's the claws. They grow into it though. Patrick, the world's oldest wombat at 27.

The very animal way the thing moves makes watching it be kicked a little upsetting. It's like watching someone kick a robot doggy.

The saving grace is that the thing is only programmed to react to the fact that it is now off-balance and correct itself. It does not know that it was kicked, nor who kicked it. When the robots take over, it will be swift and it will be brutal, but it will not be vengeful.

When I lived in Ft. Lauderdale, FL there were a ton of those little dudes. Most of their homes had caution tape around them so you wouldn't accidentally disturb the owls.

I know the kangaroo was pretty loving unhappy about it all but the sight of a guy wearing a dead emu grab a kangaroo and hold on to it's tail while it tries to hop away is loving hilarious.

Did somebody say budgies? Budgies are great companions! I used to have two, until my little Tokyo passed away. I still have Fuji, who is the most adorable little rear end in a top hat I could have ever asked for. Budgies are pretty chatty, and they like to burble/peep pretty much all the time. They're not teh most cuddly of birds, but if you want a buddy to sit on your shoulder and talk in your ear and groom your eyebrows, then budgies are great. You should also consider lovebirds! My ex had a couple of Budgies, and after one died they got another pretty quickly. Edit: I did some more reading, and as long as you socialize with it every day it'll be fine. It still might not hurt to get another though. Beardless has a new favorite as of 06:10 on Feb 11, 2015 |

I know I should get Fuji another buddy, but losing Tokyo hurt me so badly that I'm just not ready. Don't worry, Fuji gets two hours out of the cage with me every day, and my desk is right by his cage, so he's never alone.

Vine: The inflating owl https://vine.co/v/OUaX0KQ7XnK It kind of amazes me how much of an owl is actually bird as opposed to feathers. I saw an anatomical cutaway of an owl once. Without their feathers they look a lot like vultures - a lot of neck concealed in the classic owl head-shape.
