Wow this thread is moving pretty fast.

So that's what is meant by "Wisconsin Thin"?

I guess because their patties are really thin (so they brown easily), so you get like 2-3 patties on the sandwich if you want a real burger

After moving to CO the nearest Culver's is now 40 minutes away, but it would make a good side trip for going up to some of the better dispensaries in the Denver area :420: :burger: :420: The local burger joint Good Times is scrub tier and Five Guys is just a wad of grease.

Also, fresh cut fries are poo poo and not special, just a bunch of mush. PARBOIL your loving fries (that means you Good Times)

There's lots of good burgs in CO, you just gotta go to the local places. Plenty of baller rear end green chili burgs around Denver.

Colorado may have legalized marijuana, but it still prohibits “on-site consumption,” a caveat aimed at preventing Amsterdam-style coffee shops where pot can be purchased and consumed in the same place. Speaking of Colorado Burgs, I never got the appeal of Good Times.

I was just a 'meh' Jack-In-The-Box analog IMO.

Also I just remembered that the Dark Horse in Boulder has a burger with peanut butter on it and it, somehow, kinda works? Very confusing.

One of the bars near me makes a 1/2 pound bacon cheeseburger with peanut butter and a sliced hot link on it, and that poo poo is loving amazing.

best burgs are the western style ones with bbq sauce, bacon, and an onion ring on them.

if you venture outside of fast food, chili's craftburgers are good, and they come with garlic pickles. there's a hipster place here in Hattiesburg called "keg & barrel" that has incredible local cheeses and stuff.

I am a humble man, I go for the triple whopper.

Went to a new place called Burgatory and it was pretty good

I'm kind of boring with my burgers since I like them plain with nothing on them, well except ketchup.

Now that I think about we got a bunch of burger joints now in my town, we got a Red Robins (horrible/overly expensive), Five Guys (great/horribly expensive), Smash Burger (good/horribly expensive), and now Burgatory (great/horribly expensive/great milkshakes)

If you get your hamburger from a local, good butcher shop that is grinding their meat daily from real steaks, you can get away with medium rare :ssh:

If I could get them to grind it in front of me, take it home and make tartare

Don't try this with grocery store hamburger.

Shockingly, in many places its okay to eat well prepared raw meat. A prized dish in Ethiopia is Kitfo which is raw beef spiced with traditional spice blends.
