A great Flophouse with one of the best starts ever. I hope they keep playing Radio Zork, and I'd love to see Hayley Mills as Blofed. It's a podcast about talking.

Stigmata is a pretty boring movie but PoopJuice the Paladin made that episode for me. Next week's episode will not be a Reese Witherspoon movie, it'll be a Julianne Moore's movie instead. Please let it be The Forgotten

I know I saw Stigmata when it came out, but literally the only thing I remember from it is that bathtub/aquarium shot they tried to describe at the beginning.

I like how bowled over they were about the PoopJuice guy. As if that type of name is an anomaly on the internet, and clearly the irreverent soul who would use such a name must be some sort of comedy impresario.

Next they'll be telling me there are pictures of bare-naked ladies on the internet, as if.

Bad comedies need to have something special in order to not just boringly suck. As for non-paranormal action, the just did Sabotage. The only reason there was so much monster mash the last few weeks is worst of 2014 month.

Not every comedy has Jim Belushi or is based around an incomprehensible food theme.

She was a sword glinting in the depths of night, a lance of light piercing the darkness. There would be no mistakes this time.
And right before the worst of 2014 they did a whole bunch of comedies (or, well, "comedies")-- Look Who's Talking, Jingle All The Way 2, Three Men and a Baby, and I guess Super Mario Brothers, kind of?

I'm usually so-so on the comedies, because they have to be really bad to make them work. And I mean really dreadful and misguided like HOTS or something.

Yea a bad comedy has to be like, the bottom of the barrel bad. You can't just have a podcast going 'I didn't care for that joke' as your big zinger. Most every movie podcast I like has outright said the ones they're very reluctant to do are comedy and children's movies that aren't just balls to the wall insane or terrible just because either with comedy it's so subjective or for kid's movie they're obviously not the target audience anyway.

Maybe a comedy isn't the best idea, but something a little lighter in tone. I enjoyed the Sabotage episode but that movie still has such a dark tone that it still contributes to the monotony for me.

I usually love when they do romantic comedies because of how inherently hosed up most of them are without being self-aware about it: Baby Cakes, The Pallbearer, Addicted to Love, Three Men and a Baby, etc. I requested Overboard during a few listener request months, and I'm sad they haven't done it yet because it's essentially the perfect WHM movie.

Next episode was supposed to be a romcom but they called a last minute audible according to the end of the Stigmata episode.

I feel like there are a handful of Julianne Moore possibilities but if the ten year rule is in effect for this then it has to be The Forgotten, right?

There are just too many to choose from. The Lost World isn't remembered all that fondly, The Forgotten was horrible, Assassins is a movie I imagine hasn't aged well, they already did Nine Months, and there are dozens of movies I've never even heard of that could very well suck.

I saw it in the theater as well and the only thing I remember about it was the car crash scene being very startling.

Edit: The same night as that I also watched Robert De Niro's Hide and Seek. Now there's a movie that should be a loving stay tuned.

After some straining, I can remember three things about The Forgotten:

1. I kept thinking "what a lovely X Files episode" the whole time

2. I've never laughed harder at cop death

3. Its ending is exactly the stupid bullshit you were afraid it was five minutes in

Are we sure they aren't doing a romantic comedy? Because she was in Laws of Attraction with Pierce Brosnan which is just now 10 years old.

Ninety-one? There are ninety other "Tiger Drivers"? Do any involve actual tigers, or driving?
I don't really remember the JP sequels all that well. Lost World is the one with Goldblum as the lead and the little black girl dropkicking raptors, right?

Kinda hope it's Assassins just because she plays a 90s hacker and they haven't really done a lot of Stallone's stuff. Although IMDB also says she was in that early 90s "Madonna Does Basic Instinct" vehicle (Body of Evidence) that I've never seen but definitely remember from my sister's teen mags when I was 12 or so.
