When you lose your rank from inactivity I think you get put into a sort of unranked purgatory where they don't know where to place you ELO wise. I would guess the next match will drop you to Nova 1 or SEM's.

What's the best way to compensate for the very, very, very slight random deviation in where my first bullet is going at long ranges? I find it's the main reason I can't kill fuckers from far away (like, Pit to A Site on Dust2 ranges) with an AK or M4A4/M4A1

Crouching does help with first shot accuracy though, so this is one situation where it might help. Alternatively you could hide as ct in site and let them get closer or smoke it off and push as a t to get closer and not worry about hitting 1 taps down one of the longest sightlines in the game.

Never fight Ts in pit if you're plat/ramp and don't have an AWP. They have to come to you. Hide in the site, once they're pushing up bounce some flashes into their grills.

I also don't remember how any maps go other than Dust and Aztec which have been burned into my memory since 2001!

Played another comp game. Play of the game: Killing three T's peeking long, with me at Car, with an M4A1. We steamrolled the enemy team but I think I played well since I went 16 and 5.

So turn on the ten-second bomb timer music and the cool ones like MVP and end round stuff while leaving the normal bomb music off and other ones that can get in the way of the game. Careful on the round start one if you're playing any quick rush maps, on mirage if a ct rushed underpass and there wasn't a call I couldn't tell until he was already shooting at me.
