If the Lakers gave Dragic the max it would be another situation of these franchises hurting themselves by hurting each other. Dragic would hurt the pick the Lakers owe them and pull one of their best players away from them, but the Lakers would have a lot of money involved in Dragic and it would slow their rebuild.
