glad i don't live in a state that has downpours of snow during the winter, but holy hell Washington drivers go full loving retard if the road is even a little bit slick. is it really that hard to learn how to drive in the snow? i did it fine first time we had a "snow storm" here but every 5 miles or so i saw some idiot in the ditch or smashed into another car.

An EF-MFT adapter without electric connectors would be pretty cheap, i think they run around $40 for basic ones that aren't total garbage and up to $200 for some novaflex precision engineered or whatever adapters. Getting F mount lenses is fine, though, they can adapt to pretty much anything, including Canon.
