I grew up as a defender and phwoarrrr did I love Big Col. Look at that mane. A lion, for sure. Trevor Sinclair did not go to a world cup, which was forever bullshit. Lampard was pretty good already, he just hadn't turned into a proper goal machine yet. Sinclair was great, Rio left for leeds for £18m that November starting the meltdown, Moncur and Lomas were always reliable (for cards). Di Canio was at his best. It wasn't that bad a squad, we got into the intertoto. It was dreadfully balanced for sure, but it was the best squad Harry's ever made, and he personally ruined it.
