This Triumph show is terrible. Having to endure 20 minutes of total poo poo to see 2 minutes of funny Triumph bits is not good TV.

LAST WEEK ON TOONAMI Dragon Ball Z Kai: Goku comes back, but not quite in time for the three hours. The Saiyans tell the Z Fighters that they've come for the Dragon Balls and can just go to Namek to use theirs since we just used ours. Then they try to kill Gohan, but Mr. Piccolo shields him. Kill La Kill: Ryuko learns more about her clothes, a Kamui named Senketsu that is powered by blood. Then she plays tennis. Gurren Lagann: poo poo starts happening in space. The Gurren Lagann and the Arc-Gurren combine and punch a guy through reality. Also the moon is a battleship. One Piece: Nami reaches Kalifa, Luffy goes through the underground passage to the Gates of Justice to intercept Robin, and some beverage-based comedy with Chopper and Franky. LAST WEEK ON GOONAMI Slayers Next: It turns out that a couple monsters wanna take Seyruun. Trying to stop them, Lina loses her magical powers and goes to find a magical doctor played by Misty who won't stop yelling. Unfortunately, they're attacked and Lina is unable to cure herself. She is able to use a modicum of power by stealing Xellos' magic poo poo because it's not like he needs it. Akibaranger: Three nerds became Power Rangers and got a car robot. Tropes were subverted and official Rangers were met. Tonight on Slayers, a new spell?! Tonight on Akibaranger, we get shitfaced drunk.

This should just be a 15 minute show. The plot framework fell completely flat and served only as a way to get to the Triumph bits at the convention.

Since the show is actually being made by Universal Television, who produces a number of popular sitcoms, they may not have wanted to produce an 11 minute show.
