Invicta I believe either wanted Kowalkiewicz to fight Kankaanpää for the title, or face Grasso in a title eliminator (I think it was the latter), but KSW asked her to defend her title there, and they probably pay better. She's still under contract to Invicta as far as I know, but other than the Champions, no one's gonna fight for Invicta full time (and even then, Cyborg fights Muay Thai on the side). Invicta doesn't come close to providing enough fights for all the fighters on their roster, even with the additional events. I'm kind of confused as to why the gently caress they're only doing 8 fights for Invicta 11 in fact, but maybe the UFC made the request so that viewers wouldn't be burned out ahead of UFC 184.
