more or less but they've split up whitmarsh's responsibilities between boullier, dennis and neale. when you consider how much whitmarsh directly oversaw it becomes pretty obvious why he failed.

Which confuses me, since I can't imagine a situation where a person in the car itself would be the shortest/easiest path between KERS and ground. Or am I just being dim and missing something obvious?

They just need to be the path of least resistance between the +terminal and the -terminal, not the actual ground

Shortest path between a point of high potential and a point of low potential.

Actually, now that Clinton Bush Whitmarsh is out, nothing is his fault anymore and it's all the new guys fault from the millisecond he's in charge.

Marca has a bunch of pictures of Alonso's incident here

http://www.marca.com/albumes/2015/02/22/el_accidente_de_alonso_en_montmelo_2015/index.html

so weird, the marshall gets there, sets down his fire extinguisher, talks to him, more marshalls arrive and he's still inside the car, even though it doesn't look like it was a bad crash.

Ron Dennis wants to kill Alonso is the only possible explanation here.

If the G-Thang meter is tripped then the marshals have to wait for the medical staff to extract the driver if there's no immediate risk of fire.

electrocution seems the most likely explanation given mclaren's refusal to clarify what happened, plus the fact that they easily could have repaired the car and sent button out for laps they desperately need, yet choose not to run

g-forces are pretty cheap watches so I'm not surprised its alarm malfunctioned tbqh

I think the US is dumb for not using Celsius
You can't even get your lame jokes right. The watch is called G-Shock. Which would have even opened you up for an electrocution joke.

The g force things are just stickers you attach to things and they break when subjected to the rated g-force.

G-shock watches are actually pretty good (if questionably sytled) watches. They have the kind of reliability that Ron Dennis could only dream of.
