I'm glad they actually came up with a reason for Oliver acting like an idiot that involves him being... less stupid. Like, he's still stupid as all gently caress, but it's the kind of stupid I can understand and get behind. He just wanted to beat the Final Boss. He was so close, but then he died and got saddled with heavy EXP and stat penalties. Now he's consulted the Player's Guide (Merlyn) and learned Ra's patterns so he wants to try again. Only somehow he accidentally activated cheat mode and now he gets to BE the Final Boss. :v:

Calling it: Ra's offer comes with a catch: Oliver must be the one to kill Merlyn to prove he has the League's sense of justice. Oliver either refuses, or actually does it, then revives him using the Pit, and then they have to escape Nanda Parbat with Maseo's help.

E: Also Arrow did something right today: they managed to piss off two fanbases: the Olicity fanbase and the Batman fanbase. This is a good thing.

Did any Batman fans really get pissed off at all though? I consider myself a massive Batman fan and am happy they're going with the "I want you to take my place" thing but substituting Oliver in place of Bruce. I mean, substituting Oliver in place of Bruce is pretty much what this show is about anyhow..
