Bayonetta 2 contains 2 full-length games for $60, while by my understanding Rainbow Curse is like .75 of a retail game for $40. Bayo is the clear winner in terms of hours of entertainment per dollar. e: though if you don't like challenging, technical action games and/or the game's tendency to lay the sex appeal on thick puts you off (bearing in mind that it kinda puts everyone off a little) then you should probably stay away from Bayonetta!!!

If they make a Skies of Arcadia remake/sequel they need to rachet back the encounter rate to something more reasonable than "every two steps"

Waltzing Along posted:Cool, thanks. I didn't think Nintendo would be that stupid. To clarify, it's one quick-save slot per game. If you started a new save file on Earthbound and used quick-safe on that, it would over-write the first one, but playing say, Fire Emblem at the same time as Earthbound wouldn't affect Earthbound's quick-save slot at all. That would be dumb.

I think it's also per console account, so if you select a different Mii on boot you'd get different saves for VC games.

Have you ever raced against the 150cc/Mirror Mode AI on Dolphin Shoals? I'm convinced they souped up the AI for that stage because the track was too difficult for the AI to navigate or something.

Buying a DKC game gets you a 30% discount on Tropical Freeze, too (or DKCR3D on 3DS if you have your NNID linked across both systems).

I never played much of a 3D Zelda game before. I was a Playstation kid after SNES. My girlfriend got me a Wii U for my birthday last week and I picked up Wind Waker. Holy poo poo I see why people love Zelda games so much. I mean, the original Zelda and Link to the Past are some of my favorite games from childhood, so I don't really get how I skipped like 7 Zelda games, but whatever. Yay fun!

The first one isnt bad, its just a mediocre platformer from an era of amazing ones, and it also has some bs if you're trying to 100% it. DKC3 on the other hand leans somewhat heavily on weird gimmick stages, which is alright as well. If you were going to only get one DKC game, I would personally say get DKC2, basely solely on Bramble Blast.

There's nothing about Tropical Freeze aside from all that HD goodness that makes it worthy of all of the Wii U's resources right? Like, if the game were in 480p, it could be a Wii game? I'm asking because I kinda think, if the New 3DS is here for a few more years, it'd be possible to see Tropical Freeze come to the 3DS.

I don't think you could scale it down. It's not just higher resolution, there's a ton of effects going on, better models, longer levels, more layers, etc

I think people mostly complain about water levels these days because its a meme. The key level wasn't great but that's the only one that was annoying and it doesn't really take long and has good music
