since we know what goes well on a burg we should probably establish what doesn't go well

personally I think if you put peanut butter on a burger you should be castrated

also donuts do not magically become buns for burgers

i'd still try it once just because

i think like 14-15 years ago here there was a photoshop that was basically combining hosed up foods and one of them was a powdered donut with ground beef inside

always wanted one since then

Everything sounds loving great about this except the wheat part. I know white bread is considered the devil these days but I still use it for burgs. Anything else I try and go healthy.

For a more elegant burg, I like a nice ciabatta or sour dough from time to time.

Anyone here gently caress w patty melts? Burg or not?

I thought it was weird as hell for forever then I tried it. The salty, savory taste somehow perfectly melds with the meat. I almost never have it but if I am at a place where its served, and I am in the mood for it, I will eat one.

That said I have only had a few in my life because those stars must align and that's rare.

Don't stop, I'm almost there.

Checks out. I'd use red relish over mustard most times, but I still like mustard on the odd burger.

The great thing about burgin with a beer is that basically any beer will compliment the burger well. A crisp pilsner or something would probably be best in most situations, but pair that burger with an IPA or even a stout and it still owns.

pepper isn't nessecary but the salt is essential because it tenderises the meat and binds it together

Cheese in in a pocket inside the burger is pretty good. Especially a bit of strong stuff like some Bleu poo poo.

Agreed. Just mixing poo poo into the ground beef is dumb. It doesn't really do anything at best and at worst compromises the structural integrity of the patty.

Not a fan of mustard on my burg, never have been. Not much for mayo either but I'll definitely eat a burg if it does have some. BBQ sauce is the king of burg sauces for me, although I had one with guac on it recently and it was mighty tasty. Then of course theres hot sauce which is always welcome.

Dyna Soar

hot sauce works, chili burgs are awesome altho if i'm making a chili burg i prefer to mix the chili with the mayo. quacamole, sure, i like both quacamole and just chopped avocado in a burg. works real well with cheddar and hot sauce. mexican style burg served with a small plate of nachos.

Actually count it as an 80% success. Adding two slices of muenster and flipping it over sort of sealed the obvious flashing weak point of this idea.

well, you can choose which condiments you like, but do we agree with that there needs to be two and only two? one on each side.
