Hey so I procrastinated on this poo poo for like 3 months and wound up making it uh, a lot bigger than it was supposed to be, so here's Touhou Lossy Music Collection #24, with over 250 mp3s in it http://www.nyaa.se/?page=view&tid=660748 I deleted a good 10 gigs worth of bullshit making this one. It'd be nice if I could sort albums by which are actually midis disguised as mp3s, it'd let me cut down the overall size quite a bit since those fuckers both sound awful and take up far too much space for what they are.

Technically Youmu isn't a ghost either. Or a half-ghost. "Phantoms" are another category of spirit at play here. Only Yuyuko and Tojiko are traditional ghosts.

If we are going to play not a "real" ghost then Mima and Tojiko and Murasa aren't real ghosts and I don't want to live or die and be a ghost in that kind of world.

Tojiko is totally a real ghost. Anyway, a while ago I counted how many kinds of spirits there are in this series: ghosts, phantoms, poltergeists, vengeful spirits, divine spirits, evil spirits, and ship-phantoms. All of these are totally different and should not be confused with one another.

Mima is a kind of ghost that doesn't exist elsewhere. Given that ZUN wasn't really bothering with worldbuilding at all back then it's kind of vague. She's the only evil spirit. Tojiko is described in her profile as a ghost (bourei), same as Yuyuko. She's also called a vengeful spirit sometimes, but vengeful spirits are also those things in hell that can't talk and turn into arsenic as a natural process. Perhaps it's not worth trying to reconcile these contradictions at all (unfortunately, fantasy writers don't always use every word as a technical term), but the impression I get is that Tojiko is just a normal ghost who happens to be a bit vengeful.

I'm assuming you mean the final non-spell with the unwinding blue and red knife circles; which part of the attack are you having problems with? If you're trying to weave through one of the knife lines it's probably not going to work, you need to move horizontally between lines. Depending on the difficulty, current rank, and character movespeed, you might need to unfocus for the second circle (which can be quite fast and come in at a nasty angle).

yeah i keep slamming reimu's dumb head into the line trying to move unfocused horizontally through it. Any way to job the angle? I think i'm fairly close to being able to bomb spam my way to 1cc lunatic since patchouli herself doesnt give me much trouble.

Yeah if you're at high rank there's not much you can do about it. One thing I try to do is if I foresee the need to spend a bomb, to get hit deliberately and deathbomb it to decrease the rank. With EoSD timing it's risky, and still requires spending a bomb, but going through a stage without spending resources gets kind of nuts.

 The translation patch for Touhou Attorney 2 (Gyakuten Touhou 2) is complete! Download it here: https://www.sendspace.com/file/4f8ipp You'll still have to find the game itself, but just put that in the folder with the .exe file and it'll apply automatically.

I tried to brute force it, but then somehow lost my place while doing so because I ended up skipping over the correct answer and trying all the others before asking for help on a forum. By that point I was too annoyed to continue though. In retrospect, I think I probably guessed right in the first place but selected the wrong answer, which made me think I had already tried it.
