Let's take a look at the pros and cons of rushing a flank with a heavy tank. Pro:   Literally nobody seems to be able to handle an enemy tank coming from behind their lines, so you roll up the entire flank on your own. Con:   You do pretty much the same thing, except this time you weren't fast enough to prevent your entire team from dying and you didn't have any decent players on the other flank. So now you're stuck at the end of the map, your only remaining ally lingering at the middle and two enemy heavies capping your base. C'est la vie.

How much free exp should I spend to get out of the M12 or conversely is the M40/43 a lot better than the M12? Oddly enough I kinda like my french arty because its a go fast arty, so I don't mind grinding it. Even before 9.6 the ARL 44 was best with the 105mm with APCR and never aiming or stopping. The gun handling is so awful on all the guns you'd be best off snapshotting constantly and getting out many more shots than if you tried to aim that poo poo. Now with snapshotting being incredible the ARL 44 (and the M4 45 I suppose) it seems like a good time to go wild with entirely unaimed shots.

In my experience, the top 90mm on the M4 45 bounces way more often than the raw pen would seem to imply. The low caliber makes it susceptible to autobounces on awkward angles of relatively thin armor.

The 1945 is an average tier 7. If you're used to T29 class performance before grinding through it, you'll wanna kill yourself of course. Or you use the 105mm gold cannon as previously mentioned.

I don't have the replay, but I had a tier 6 match in Ensk where a T1 Heavy sat in the southern bushes for the entire map. When I asked what the gently caress he was doing as the east side was getting butfucked, he informed me that he only had one hand and was doing the best he could.  GIFchat: I have a 2005 version of flash I bought off my high school when they upgraded. It's great.

I ran the top 90 on the arl 45 and played it like a fat t20. Seemed to work reasonably well. If I could afford to shoot all the gold the 105 was solid on it, but the 90 forced me to conserve hit points better and allowed for more standoffish engagements which meant you could pop up fire and then duck the shot.

For pubstomping 6s with regular MM I guess you can't go wrong with Cromwell, A-43, T-34-85, M6, KV-2 or the SU-100. Also, I gave in and got the AMX CDC. First impression: Tier 8 Cromwell
