There are already cracks forming in the team, as seen by the argument outside Skye's isolation chamber and Simmons' ranting. Plus the strong hints that Skye is going to leave to either go to Muad'dad or be mentored by other Inhumans. I cannot see any possible world where Skye is messed up enough about her new powers that Mr. Hyde seems like a great option.

So glad I can start making gifs of the show again. Cal continues to be the best Maybe Skye's secondary power is time/space manipulation Just needed Coulson to be at a baptism during all of this.

Find folks on the Index, drum up some conflict between them and SHIELD, try to shove a wedge into Skye's head between how they treat her and how they treat others like her. It sounds like Hyde's going to be responsible for monster-of-the-week episodes, while Raina/Inhumans are the overarching complication (along with the missed Hydra guy and whoever Mack/Bobbi are working for [my money's on Talbot not being as incompetent as he looks, because that would be pretty hard to do]).

Either my brain automatically compensated or the version on my TV was clear as day. I remember noting how clear the shot of Raina was, basically as bright as that picture of Quill (aside from skin color). I have not yet ruled out the possibility I may be insane.

I had the same memory as you, for the same reason (Raina), and I just checked and it is indeed fairly dark like in the gif. The establishing shot has a moon in the sky, even. While fastforwarding through the show I did notice that almost the whole show is kinda dark and seems to have a similar cool shady filter, so it is possible we both did some mental compensation for that.

I really enjoy this show. I thought Simmons went a little too far with her anti-powers thing, hopefully it dials back some I honestly forgot about ol' eyeless dude so his appearance at the end was cool. I feel like that has happened to me once or twice before with this show too, and I've watched almost all of it without commercials even.Phylodox posted:It was obviously shot during the day and then had a load of filters dumped on top of it. Yeah the only reason Spider-Man is going to be in the MCU is because of how hard they got railed. Short of a similar event Fox will own Xmen forever. Though given the state of Hollywood IT I'm a little surprised it hadn't happened sooner.

Quill was shown in a well-lit barrack supposed to be Vietnam. Not the environment you want to show such prosthetics.

That goes a long way to explain why SHIELD looked so low budget to me this week (final scene excluded) compared to Agent Carter's period look. They put a lot of effort into it, I hope they give it a second season (if they haven't already).

Not knowing much about the greater marvel universe my theory is that Bobbi and Mack had need of the toolbox for a personal matter, like finding a friend or relative that wasn't disclosed to Coulson because of reasons. That being said, I was super disappointed with how low budget the alien city scenes were. Oh well.

I think Bobbi and Mac are working for someone else and I am inclined to think it is Talbot but only because I am not entirely sure of the dialogue of their final scene in the episode. For some reason, though, I get the feeling that they don't think they're working against the team.

Bobbi and Mack are skrulls. Season 3 is going to be Secret Invasion. Big reveal for mid-season cliff-hanger? Tripp was a skrull and they rescue the original so he re-joins the cast.
