I could be entirely talking out my rear end though, but regardless I still strongly feel that communism as it's usually defined is not the answer to the worlds/poorer people's problems. It's just hard getting enthused over more ideas stemming from dead white guys who would have little understanding of our world today. I prolly could stand to look up how communist theory's changed, tho, since the days of marx in order to better explain my argument.

I guess Subcomandante Marcos and other movements focused on Amerindian heritage are doing that right now, but I also want something that will make Trots as relevant as Christian Socialists.

I know that when I say "communism's dumb and kind of bad/unworkable" I'm only considering the limited knowledge I have of European-focused communist philosophy--because that's all I've been educated on. There isn't that much of a focus on anyone else's brand/interpretation of communism in most educational courses unless you straight up look for information regarding those specific regions/peoples. It's why I said I was probably talking out my rear end by blanket dismissing communism for the failures of its European-branch.
