What the hell is going on at Honda? That thing looks like they raided the stick-on aisle at auto zone. Fender flares from a sti? Check. Gills from a Z3/mutated fish frog? Check. Stuck on rear flares? Check. Will whomever designed the s2000 please come back? Remember when hondas all resembled that car? Late 1990's. 6th gen accord, ek civics, the cr-v. gently caress, even the Accord coupe had a nice rear end. Now honda just makes wierd, bulbous, ugly poo poo like the crosstour.

Funny, when the Canadian dollar was higher than the US dollar prices didn't even out, let alone get cheaper than the US.

Here's to hoping they start building that motor in the Ohio plant and put it in a sensible looking car for America. E: Honda doesn't make the Crosstour anymore. Their current design is basically fine because it's inoffensive and bland. The ridiculous CTR is an exception, what happens when they let the Brits make a track special. At some point they became a honda person, and recently decided to get a new one. Even they left the dealer in disgust because they wouldn't be caught dead in one of those hideous wrecks. It takes a special brand of unsightly to make cars that good that still drive brand loyalists away, but they're doing it. It's especially bad because Mazda has great design right now.

Holy poo poo, I just checked out the video and the Type-R is an abomination - those fender vents have to be a joke! It's like a committee studied all the lovely civic ricers of the early 2000's and based their production model off of it directly. I don't even think anyone would have perceived it as cool even in 2004. For once I have no issues with this not being US bound, give me a FoRS and call it a day. Sad that ford has so far eclipsed honda for small affordable performance cars, who woulda thunk it?

It's really a shame so many people (myself included) had terrible experiences with Fords Powershift DCT; when it worked as it was meant to, it was awesome. It really made regular automatics feel antiquated. Yeah I am/was a huge apologist for the Ford Powershift. It drives really well when it's working. That said my work Focus is at 90K and going back to the shop for the second time in as many weeks due to transmission warning lights/strange shifting behavior. The Ford DCTs really shine in the models that allow you to select individual gears with sport shift. The default programming in D tends to want to get into the highest gear as soon as possible and then lazily downshift if you really prod it. Having actual engine braking is excellent, though.

I traded the Fiesta in for the ST largely because the transmission was shuddering and acting up worse than it was 4 months ago when they had it for almost 2 weeks completely rebuilding everything to fix the shuddering at 68k miles. It had 75k miles on it when I traded it and even though Ford extended the warranty to 100k miles because of the tranny problems, I got to where I was afraid of how many problems I was going to be looking at going forward.

Look how wrong you are about everything. The W220 looks great and is the best looking S-class of our time including the current one. I could never get over that "bustle back" look that they got starting from the W221. Reminded me of those old Cadillacs with the fake spare tire carrier in the back. I wouldn't want to own one without a warranty but looks are definitely not a problem

The 90s and early 2k bmw design language still looks sharp as hell. I was ogling a '00 m5 just the other day in a grocery store parking lot. Post bangle to now bmw's are too bulbous and rounded off for me. Maybe it's my taste because I often feel the opposite about audis. They looked kinda fat in the 90s and 00s(that bar of soap TT) but the newer ones look more lean and sharp.
