I just love the fists of fury. Also I been trying to focus and pay attention to the surreal story. While I get the Drive influence, I feel like the story was written by David Lynch. I have no idea what is going on. Like said before, use what mask you like best, but Tony is probably the best in general for just getting through the game if you want more of that sweet, weird plot. Most other masks have their uses (like Zack for getting combos, or Jones for being awesome), but you can always go back and play levels infinitely so just do what works for you.

And the fixating over the simpleton plot is just pointless. There's no loving lore, but there is rape. Which will be impossible to find arousing, due to the fact that it's only pixels.

By the looks of steam the game is unlocking in the UK around 7pm Tuesday, which is ok for me as I'm working early and I should be ready to crack some skulls once I get back home and have some dinner ! I really like the comic series I take it the military dude in the glasses is the guy on all the box art for wrong number, can't believe the russians have taken over Honolulu!

I'm not sure what the hell is going on between Russia and America but I'm sure we will find out more once the games story's revealed. The thing thats not clear (at least to me) is if Beard and his unit are actually still a part of the US army or just a remaining group of soldiers from a decimated US army.

This doesn't quite gel with his final words though, asking Jacket if he's been getting the phone calls too. Anyway, Jacket gets a bullet in the brain or wherever and has his coma dream, and the rest is violent, bloody history. So, that's my whole idea of how this theory could work out. I look forward to being proven 100% wrong tomorrow!

Yeah, having read them even the trophies don't spoil anything besides confirming a character or two and one reveal that, on consideration of potential context, might not even be a major twist. The whole conversation is just  at this point, on my part at least because it's something to do to stave off impatience for being able to just play already. I've got plenty more where the spoilered one came from, like that Jacket and Hooker's relationship wasn't actually anywhere near as idyllic as the inter-level sequences appear, but I doubt that's even a thing that will matter in HM2.
