Those cars look like poo poo. It was fun and interesting the first few times people tried it but now it's just played out and unimaginative. It's one of those low-effort things people do to try and seem somehow unique or quirky or clever when they're really just doing the same dumb poo poo that a bunch of other people have done, in the exact same way. Why not make each panel have a different artwork or something? Something actually different instead of the same stupid primary colour bullshit every drat time. See also: matte black 'murdered out' chrome wrap And all that other dumb poo poo that was only cool the first time. It's like hearing a really funny joke and then having thousands of people run around screaming the same joke at the top of their lungs and looking at you expecting you to laugh uproariously. For years.

We got Golf Harlequins from the factory here in Europe, but they were all real poo poo base models, on 13" steelies with naff cloth interior and a poo poo engine. So all other things aside, they're imitating what was a crap car to start with. Kind of a gimmicky thing, but not something you'd ever want to own yourself. The matte colours i always thought looked crap, once saw an E38 7-Series and matte black and it looked ok, but i wouldn't have it myself. Chrome is for gaudy flash cunts who want to feed their egos. (But i have seen a chrome Audi A8 press car and it looked pretty cool, because it was the aluminium body fully polished and clearcoated.)
