they did that as well. 13" rmbp now has the force trackpad thing and broadwell in it. quad core broadwell cpus aren't going to be out until june or something so 15" will have to wait until they are for the updates

perhaps lenovo has improved their trackpad, but to call theirs the best is interesting, as on the carbon x1 i had the mispleasure of using, it required great care that you did not let fingernails touch it, or your finger would stop. If you left your finger go too flat it would lose tracking. any attempt to click also required a good deal of care, or the cursor would wander away from the button in the process. the best way to click things was to put both fingers down and click, which would confuse the trackpad into compliance - but likewise if the trackpad ever felt there were too many dust particles or something on it, it would also lose tracking.

thats my lenovo trackpad story

i'm a little confused about he new Macbook trackpad.

does it click? i though it was just a metal surface with force touch censors at first, and a vibration when you clicked to give the illusion

but from the video, they say they "remove the hinge"... does't necessarily mean they remove "all moving parts" or something.

and the little construction video shows a piece of metal going down on top of the censors, suggesting it's not unibody. maybe just for dramatic cross section purposes.
