To be fair they could have Roc Egg-like cards at common, that make a dragon token, and other such sidesteps instead of just printing whelps, which they should have done.

Sultai Butt Control, primary wincon is beating them with walls. Secondary is milling them out with Phenax effect.

Went to first standard with a Sultai Control deck I posted earlier. Ended up 0-2-1. I have a terrible habit of drawing a card before remembering to dig through time on the enemy turn. First round fought a guy who got a deck from the tournament organizer and lost one, won one, ran out of time. Had an ugin in my hand and mana to play him and wanted to play an Ugin, and has mana for negate ready to protect his casting, but didn't have enough turns to play the two lands, so I played him anyway and he got negated. Second match played against a RW aggro thing with rabblemasters and got burnt down too quickly to do much. Sideboarded in some Rakshasas and Tasigur, but never drew them. Final match lost the first and third, won the second. RWB with negates to be annoying and stormbreath dragon murdered my face. The game I won I got a Tasigur out and eventually defended myself enough to pop out Ugin and win. I saw a lot of Sylvan Caryatid and it seems like a great card, but tricky to put into Sultai Control with the crux of fates perhaps? I really like the superfriends aspect but is UB Control more stable with the dissolves? I like the idea of a control deck and definitely misplayed several times where this deck would have performed better. I'm also missing 4 temples of malady and replaced them with Jungle Hollow which may have been terrible? Fun though, except for one guy being annoyed at me for having a control deck that ended going to time. He was playing Sidisi Whip though. I think. There was a whip and Sidisi sooo.

Sounds like you just need more practice with the deck. Also the Temples are way better than Jungle Hollow in the deck. Control absolutely needs the scrying power.

I feel like I'd just play Abzan midrange, stick some Dromoka and Assault formations in and then just make a bunch of stupid puns to go with the card. Well and some rams. Fleece 'em with those rear end-ault rams. But ramly, these are all okay cards by themselves. But you should definitely be playing the new Sidisi with it. It's a touching combo.

You could probably make the enchantment do some work without filling your deck with garbage (for example Siege Rhino, Courser, Brimaz, Sylvan Caryatid all seem decent with it).
