Hbomberguy you strike me as a person who cut their teeth in an environment (school, family, forum, etc) that had very strict policies about "personal attacks" so you avoid any direct insults but are really good at being absurdly annoying with passive aggressive implied insults. This is done so you can get someone else to insult you first, thereby "losing" the argument.

It's been a long time so I'm probably misremembering but I think Jack just wanted to keep violent games out of the hands of minors which doesn't sound so terrible but he was always going on the news after every school shooting to blame it all on video games.

However judging by his actions regarding games and before that rap songs he seems to have interpreted `this thing exists and can be legally sold` as the same as giving violent and sexual games directly to children. The Hot Coffee controversy that could've destroyed Rockstar games was because he argued the existence of a sex mini game* in a video game rated for adults was exposing children to pornography. He also publicly declared his intentions to get whichever company or artist he was fighting with at the time shut down, so while he might not have wanted to destroy all video games he certainly wanted to cause a lot a damage to the industry. *Which couldn't even be accessed within the game without playing around with the code.
