i agree with the fat guy in that youtube about using a couple small thin slices of tomato. if you have good tomatoes that works out great but you need a barrier between the tomato and the bun obviously.

 Local burger joint, "Bun bites Beef". This one's called "Battlekings" (all burgers are named after hip hop/rap album titles). Beef with teriyaki sauce, pineapple, lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, onions, ketchup. Glorious.

I hate tomatoes. I like ketchup, and tomato sauces, and salsas, and other tomato products... but I hate raw tomatoes. Sliced tomato on a burger = gross.

yeah man, you only need look a box of frozen white castle sliders in the eye before burg egalitarianism starts to sound like bullshit. there may not be one ideal burg of which all other burgs are merely lesser shadows, but there are definite, real, objective gradations in burg quality

I debated getting mcdonalds, and thought better of it, Then I debated getting Caliburger, but it's too far And I'd go to Mos Burger, but I'll probably go there when I next go grocery shopping... I need to find food in Hong Kong that isn't burgs.

ended up making a ploughman's lunch for...well...lunch today (cheese and branston pickle sandwich). it was so good I think the next time I make a burg it will be a ploughman's burg. also muenster cheese is pretty loving good.

I really like tomatoes Cant say I put them on my burgers though Some tomato and onion and some vinegar/oil and salt/pepper is a nice basic side salad Some might through cuke in there as well but I usually dont protip: let the onion/tomato sit in a bowl for a day soaking in the vinegar and oil

I grow tomatoes in my garden and if I get a particularly nice one I have, in the past, cut a slice of it as thick as the burger I'm making, then topped it only with red onion and a little salt and pepper and declaired the burg 'fin' right there and have a 'mato burger.

uh that should be a breakfast sausage patty. NOT a burg. Much like I am from Wisconsin, and we have brat patties. Brat patties can be better than some burgs, but I don't bring that poo poo into the burg thread, friend. Because they aren't burgers. Many places use the brat patties as additional patties on original burgers, but I'm not a huge fan of that so I never brought it up. THATS WHY. Sorry kinda got derailed there.
