I had a paper route from the time I was in middle school until sometime in late high school. It was pretty good money for 6-7 hours a week, and the savings I had from that paid for my first semester of university, my entire first year of rent plus all the poo poo I bought and all my books and fees and all that bullshit. I did not work my first year. Then I moved again and that's when I started working and resumed classes at another university.

i was in this situation once, i paid for it by selling myself to medical trials. the study i was doing at the time testing allergy medication which paid me ~$6000. there are many amusing ways to make money. i was once paid $2000 to smoke government weed and drive a car around an obstacle course
