How good at the earbuds because he only has built-in monitor sound so ok headphones were like a 2-in-1.

It was a great game, even if it wasn't on the first game's level. I'd argue that I liked more environments from 2 than 1. Subjective, I reckon. They flowed better in 1, though, obviously.

I think playing someone else's copy of BB will be good. I would love to own a copy of my own, but lord knows I will drop it pretty fast, once I don't have a guide to hold my hand anymore. They've definitely got a bigger following now than ever, but the original King's Field wasn't even released in the States, and until Dark Souls they were all pretty niche. (I know KF isn't technically a souls' game but it kinda is) I guess maybe its changed, US is a bigger audience overall. But I think you're underestimating the Japanese market for souls games.

You're not pointing out anything I don't already know. Well, both of these tie into the fact that From's games are easier to localize to the west than most stuff that has come out of Japan overseas. There just is way less to localize than on all the crazy JRPG's, so it doesn't need months of extra work for that. Where the releases are placed on the release week is mostly determined by when games usually come out in that specific market. There wasn't anything strange about when Bloodborne releases in whichever market.  Souls apparently sells very well in Japan, but the size of home console market over there just is way smaller than NA or EU these days.
