Overcome was the beginning of the end, but both that and For We Are Many are definitely still listenable. Not every song is a gem, but there are definitely standout tracks no both.

A War We Cannot Win or whatever it was called was a horrible travesty and I listened to it once. Their recent one was better than that and has a couple good songs, but it's obviously nothing like their previous content. It's a shame because Phil has one of the best vocal ranges in all of the genre, and The Fall of Ideals really showcases that.

YEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH. Right, so if they'd stuck to the vibe they had going on in this song they'd be doing just fine, I reckon they kind of lost the plot and became Libertarian Radio Friendly CoD-Core. What a jamming tape though

I don't get it either because they were always pretty radio-friendly and were getting tons of airplay around me even before they went full buttrock and started doing poo poo like this

What are some deathcore concept albums that don't get into proggy/technical metal? Just straight up deathcore with a story.

Maybe Pestilence by the band Serpents. You mightl ike Ovid's Withering if you like it, but that's more prog-ish.

The two newest Vanna albums rip, but yeah, the production on some of the songs off "Void" leaves a lot to be desired, especially the song linked. This one sounds good, though (and they really went full bro with the video):

I like August Burns Red, but it seems like most of their albums will only have a handful of songs I really enjoy. Leveler was probably the closest I got to digging an entire album (and it was a drat fine album). That said, Matt Greiner is a killer drummer.
