So I have a quick question now the end of the split is coming up and I'm caught up on the EU LCS, how does the promotion series work? Do 2 teams max get kicked from the LCS or could all 3 relegation zone teams go down? Also UOL are my favourite team after that Fnatic match.

Giants and MYM are pretty bad by LCS standards but that doesn't mean they'll be easy for challenger teams to take down, necessarily. I don't watch the challenger series so I don't know if they're good though. All that really matters though is that somebody at the bottom wins enough to put Elements in relegations.

As it stands right now, in the EU series Origen takes over MYM's spot.. LowLandLions and Gamers 2 go up against either Roccat/Elements or Giants gaming. However, this assumes the standings in the league dictate the playoffs. Right now in Playoffs Reason Gaming and Team Dignitas EU have to tie breaker it to see who's the last person into the playoffs, and hen the winner of the playoffs gets MYM's spot. Edit: Whoops, wait. MyM can actually get out of Auto Relegation this weekend if they win more than Giants. They're tied (both at 4-12) right now. And if Elements drops both games and Giants and MYM win both of theirs... it's a three way tie for last. EU LCS is very tight. MYM and Giants are both fighting to escape auto-relegation, but MYM's road is arguably harder. MYM plays SK and Roccat, Giants plays Elements and Wolves. Speaking of Elements, if they were to lose to both Giants and FNC and Giants beats Wolves, then Elements would get the last spot of relegation. The only way MYM can avoid auto-relegation is if they end up with a better standing than Giants or tie with Giants then win the tie-breaker against them. Exciting!!

Yeah this really has been a great jumping on point, EU LCS is a tight race for playoffs and has had some amazing games for a new watcher. The key I think is that MYM in my eyes have looked capable of winning games whereas Giants have just been a complete mess. I'd be very surprised if Giants win another game but I can see MYM getting an upset over Roccat.

MYM's problem isn't talent, it's management. Everyone, by all accounts, are miserable on that team and some of them were getting physically threatened. Motivation has got to be a bigger killer than anything else for them, the talents there. Supa Hot Crew were a great team last split, H0r0 is a good jungler, and they dumped KaSing without the coaches permission and he ended up leaving to H2k which are looking at a second place finish, third at worst. Giants were just your above average challenger team. They looked good in Week 1 and then fell while the rest of the teams got warmed up. Roccat were a team pros kept saying were good but they could never get footing, and Elements were a team that were supposed to be good but can't figure out what the core issue of their team is (It's not having a star playmaker/shotcaller because Froggen isn't flashy and can't shotcall and play at the same time)

CLG forgiven would be fun because he is basically doublelift in lane & sneaky in teamfights, which is like what any ADC should try to be. He needs more champions though. I would think we'd see like FNC Forgiven or TL Forgiven or some poo poo. Theres no 'top team' out there that needs an ADC. Maybe he can go to EL & really gently caress them up.

Yeah, I don't know many teams that would want to pick up Forg1ven. Even if the guy's a monster in-game, he seems like such a whiny primadonna IRL. SK looks like the perfect place for him, I don't think he'll find a better option.

I mean, back in the day he was one of the best aggressive supports in Europe, but I don't think he's that likely to get there again. Tbh I think that Forgiven will whine himself right out of competitive League of Legends in a split or two.
